Join us to Rekindle the Spirit, shop locally, and enjoy time with your family. Rossland Rekindle will be offered differently this year. Check out the schedule for the week below and find time to enjoy the lights, shop at local businesses, enter gift draws and see Santa!

Christmas Tree Lighting
As always, the Public Works elves will be setting up and lighting the tree this year. There will not be a certain time for the tree lighting but expect the lights to be on starting December 5th, 2020! Enjoy them throughout the season!

Letters to Santa
Don’t forget to get your Letters in to Santa in the drop box at the Rossland Library. Letters dropped before December 10th may receive reply from Santa!
Santa’s Favorite Books
Enjoy the surprise of wrapped holiday books from the Rossland Library! Clues are on the book to let your detectives try and guess what is on the inside.
Holiday Drive
Fill out the following to add your address to the Holiday Light Drive: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/rosslandholidaylights. We will post the map on December 5th for you and your family to experience throughout the holiday season.
Shop Local Holiday BINGO
Everyone can play Bingo! Bingo cards are available to pick up at all participating businesses. Shop at any/all of the businesses found on the game card, keep your receipt or shop token in the attached envelope. When you get a BINGO (or more than one!) bring your completed game card and all proof of purchases to any of the participating shops and you are entered into a draw for amazing prizes.... donated by the participating businesses! Prize draw is on Saturday December 19th. Winners must be able to pick up their prize.

Red Mountain Racers Christmas Tree Sale: 10 am – 4 pm
Volunteers will be on site to collect money. Please wear masks and respect social distancing. Outside of this time, you can pick a tree and pay via e-transfer to treasurer@redmountainracers.com
Santa on Display:
The jolly old elf won’t be able to visit with your little ones at the Library this year, but there is still the opportunity for a photo and a call. Santa will be in a live window display at (insert address) on the following days and times:
Saturday December 5th 10 am – 12 pm and 1 – 4 pm
Tuesday December 8th 3 – 5 pm
Thursday December 10th 3 – 5 pm
Please respect others and maintain distance.
Gift Basket Draws: Daily throughout the week
Join the Rekindle Facebook or Instagram page and follow the businesses that are participating in Rekindle 2020. Comment on the gift basket posts throughout the week to be entered for a chance to win a gift basket full of local items. No social media? No problem! Email recreation@rossland.ca to be entered into the draws.
