Seniors' Workshop Series: Book Repair Basics at the Rossland Museum

March 13 1:00 to 3:00 pm

Calling all bibliophiles! Our next Senior Workshop is all about basic book repairs.

Join our Collections Manager in this hands-on repair workshop to learn what you can do to preserve your favourite books and repair them if needed.

Following this 2-hour workshop, you'll take home the skills and supplies to do basic repairs and stabilization techniques to better take care of your literary collection. We'll also be covering some of the common issues with books and what you can do to prevent them.

Have a book or two in your collection that needs some minor repairs? Fantastic! Bring it with you and do the repairs with the support and guidance of our staff. If you don't have any books that need repairs, you can practice with some of ours!

Entry by donation - coffee/tea & treats will be provided.

This series is supported in part by the Government of Canada and the Province of BC.

The Museum is open year-round!
Tuesdays through Sundays from 10am to 6pm.
