Teen Comic Classes

Workshop dates: July 22 - 26, 2024 @ 1pm-2pm Join programming manager and comic artist Erin Shuttleworth for summer art camps! Erin has a BFA in Studio Arts from UVic and a Masters of Illustration from Falmouth University. Her classes focus on process-based activities that don't have a set outcome, fostering creativity and a low pressure environment, encouraging exploration and making mistakes! Held for 1 week in July, participants will develop mini comics, design characters, draw in 1-point and 2-point perspective and self publish their own comic. Participants are encouraged to bring any comics they have made previously for feedback, however this is also a beginner friendly workshop!
