Music & Pizza night at the Grind with Joe Nolan!

Hello music lovers!
We’ve got a music night coming up next week on Thursday, June 12 with Joe Nolan!
Hailed by The Globe and Mail as "an Americana wunderkind to watch out for," Joe Nolan is proving that praise well-deserved with his upcoming album, his eighth - Luv in the New World.
A virtuoso guitarist, elusive poet, and musical chameleon, Nolan is known for breaking genres and defying labels. He defines his sound as "These are my caravan diaries," claiming to go "wherever the muse takes me." He has garnered many accolades upon his shelf, including last year’s Canadian Folk Music Award nod for his 2023 release Lost Verses.
Known for his scrappy solo shows and arresting stage presence, Nolan’s songs are sometimes fragile and fractured, yet winningly wistful. In the next moment, he'll throw on his weathered newsboy cap and crank out a grit-soaked howl, paying homage to the Delta Blues.
John will be making his delicious thin-crust pizzas, and wine and beer will be available. You’re not obligated to come for pizza, but they are excellent! Come at 6, and that will give him time to make your pizzas and for you to eat them before the music starts. Plus the earlier you get there, the better the seats you’ll get!
These are lovely, intimate shows, and we ask that attendees stay quiet during the performances and save visiting to before and after the show, and during the break. Thank you for this!
Doors open at 6 and the music will start when the pizzas are done - between 7:30 and 8.
Email sackerman at Telus.net to reserve your tickets – $25 each (doesn’t include pizza or alcohol). It’s going to be another wonderful night!
